Background
Eldest of three, born on J'naii, Asra's parents say ze longed for the stars from the day ze was born. Ze apprenticed as a pilot under her uncle the moment her parents allowed, and applied to StarFleet Academy the day she was of age.
During one of zer visits home, ze assisted two friends in inseminating a husk, as one of the friends had a genetic disorder they did not wish to pass on. The child is in the care of zer parents and only knows of Asra as a godparent.
Asra is impulsive, curious, and eager to see what else the universe holds.
