Personal History
Sarah Fox was born to parents Richard and Lisa Fox on Starbase 1, just in Earth's Orbit, on Stardate 237011.05. Her father was a Starfleet Engineer and her mother a Botanist. Two years later, Richard Fox accepted a teaching role at Starfleet Academy and the family moved to Earth, San Francisco.
Sarah grew up enjoying a fairly priviliged upbringing. She was encouraged to partake in a variety of sports, not limited to fencing, swimming, tennis and velocity. She also performed well Academically. Her Father often encouraged her to pursue a career with Starfleet which led to many a disagreement, particularly during her teen angst phase.
When her cousin James arrived from England to live with her family, Sarah first resented his arrival. She was jealous of the attention afforded to him by her father. After a rocky start, the two cousins eventually bonded and in 238712.08 Sarah enlisted in Starfleet, more to follow the example of her cousin than to please her father.
Sarah joined the Academy to train as a Doctor. While her studies were initially promising, her second year was frought with difficulties; disagreements with fellow cadets and even her tutors led to many a disciplinary. During her third year, she wrote to her cousin and father, declaring an intention to drop out of the Academy.
Shortly thereafter she was assigned to Deep Space 6 to await special assignment on a Starship for a Cadet Cruise.
