A flag officer rank in UFOP: StarBase 118 is a rank above Captain. In the community, flag officer ranks are awarded to those staff members who have shown extraordinary dedication to not only their ships but the fleet at large.

Fleet Captain: The first flag officer rank staff members can earn above captain in UFOP: StarBase 118. Commodore: An exclusive rank and title captains and fleet captains can earn in UFOP: StarBase 118 once they have served as commanding officer of a vessel for five years (whether continuously during one tenure or cumulatively over multiple commands). Having completed their own "five-year mission" aboard their ships, these COs are recognized by our community as among our finest leaders in the fleet. Rear Admiral: Staff members whose dedication and work in the community have set them apart from their fellow COs and fleet staff members to earn the first rank of the admiralty. Vice Admiral: The third-highest rank and title in UFOP: StarBase 118. These members have shown exceptional dedication and leadership to the fleet. Admiral: The second-highest rank and title in UFOP: StarBase 118. Fleet Admiral: The highest rank and title in UFOP: StarBase 118. To date, only one member has held this rank: Tristan Wolf, founder of the community.
