CHRONOLOGICAL HISTORY:

T'Reyna (meaning "Wayward Health") technically hails from Vulcan, although she was conceived and born in a starship. Her parents, pilgrims to distant temples, gave birth to their daughter in an almost nomadic fashion. The unusual purple eyes, concerning initially to her mother, is a condition known as "duv glan," a sensitivity to bright lights rare in Vulcans (thanks to their homeworld having three suns).

Typically raised like most Vulcans, she adopted Surak's teachings from an early age and aspired to achieve logical nirvana (Kolinahr). This did not come to pass, as young T'Reyna quickly found great skill in academic studies, dedicating herself to knowledge itself. She would work within civilian laboratories, having a husband and child by 2330s. To put her skills to best use, however, she joined the Vulcan High Command in 2350.

Until the 2370s, T'Reyna spent twenty years well-adjusted to orderly life within Vulcan starships. She primarily served aboard Sh'vhal-class ships, protecting native space from smugglers, pirates and terrorists. That was until the Dominion War. When the Dominion began to push toward Vulcan space, T'Reyna fought in various skirmishes. The Second Battle of Vulcanis saw much death, amongst them was T'Reyna's only daughter. Determined to stay calm in the face of adversity and loss, she continued serving endlessly and tirelessly until the very end of the Dominion War in 2375. Attending the Battle of Cardassia as part of a joint-effort for the Federation after they lost most of their ships in the Second Battle of Chin'toka, T'Reyna's ship was destroyed in combat. She barely survived and required extensive surgery. Returning to Vulcan, she spent the next few years recovering physically and mentally, suffering deeply from trauma and sorrow which would lead to her husband leaving her due to her emotional outbursts.

In this period of turmoil, she would leave Vulcan and travel the quadrants as a vagabond for many years, giving in to temptations, vice and emotion. Becoming reliant on drugs to swave off her emotional trauma, she would join a few crews of smugglers and adventurers throughout the next (just over) ten years. It is during this time she became involved in Bat'leth training and tournaments, through a friendship with a previous foe- a Klingon that saw her a worthy opponent. Eventually she would break her addiction alone and return to the ways of Surak's teachings, though was still deeply troubled. She sought purpose once more, returning to Vulcan to seek it after over a decade away from home.

She would learn to live with her ghosts thanks to the teachings of Vulcan Masters. To help her find purpose, she joined the Vulcan Science Academy in 2388 after three years of deep meditations. By the time she finished academic studies in 2397, she earned diplomas in xenolinguistics, anthropology and military theory. Whilst offered a position to teach, to continue studying on Vulcan, T'Reyna concluded she wished to return to a military-styled service. In the same year, she joined Starfleet as a Cadet, despite being offered a position back into High Command. She felt that she had become too 'Unvulcan' to remain in service to her own species alone.

Moving to Earth, she spent four years in San Fransico at Starfleet Academy before being assigned to Starfleet 118 Ops.
