Doz Finch is currently a member of the Maquis, serving aboard the Skarbek. Sentenced to thirty years at the nightmarish penal colony of Vrekil, she is released and finds herself helping the crew of the Maquis Skarbek in their ongoing fights.

As an associate of the Skarbek Maquis, her vast catalogue of ex-crooks, convicts, bent-guards and other dodgy connections makes her the Skarbek "Fixer", the person they go to to make arrangements or to find specific things.

Background

Trailed away to the nightmarish penal colony of Vrekil, to serve a thirty year sentence for a crime she didn’t commit, the story picks up some months after her release, where through a chance encounter she has wound up as a member of the Skarbek Maquis. Resourceful, distrusting and generally unsympathetic, her prison experience completely changed her.

Murve Norström, a man she once knew as Murphy, promised that upon her release, he would find her and kill her for what he believes she did. Unbeknownst to the crew of the Skarbek, not only is she an ex-convict, but is also being hunted down.

History

Vrekil

A terrible and corrupt penal colony, ruled over with an iron fist by the ruthless warden Gepe Grasa. Full of lowlives, murderers, arsonists, treasonists, terrorists and more, from all species and all backgrounds, the prison is not for the faint of heart. Digging grounds can be found in Vrekil, watched over by floating drones, bearing cameras and speakers within which the wardens voice often booms. Few make it to the end of their sentences to be released —— Doz being one of the exceptions.
