Brief Notes:

Born on a refugee ship nearly two decades after the destruction of the El-Aurian home world at the hands of the Borg, Kadoshem Rex's early life was spent fleeing across the galaxy to Federation space, where his parents found a home on the colony of Mars using what little remained of the old Rex fortunes. Nadavon never recovered from the tragedies he endured during the occupation and annihilation of his race, turning to alcohol and eventually losing control of his life entirely and checking himself into a rest home. Aslam turned her experiences into critically-acclaimed holonovels, acquiring some fame.

Rex was a lonely child with few friends, ageing and growing so much more slowly than his Human neighbours. As soon as he was old enough he returned to his childhood lifestyle, travelling, 'discovering himself' until a few years ago when he returned to the Sol System and applied to Starfleet.

In the Academy he's shown remarkable aptitude for scientific investigation as well as a bright understanding of obtuse theory, bringing the experience of nearly a century of space exploration to everything he does. Driven by a strict code of ethics and an insatiable curiosity, he has made it known he wishes to really bring his skills to deep-space exploration.
