Asha Torsten is the only daughter of Demar and Genin Torsten. Her uncle, Josar, is the pride of the family as he was the first to be chosen as a host. Her parents had always hoped that Asha would follow in his footsteps and so she was always pushed to be the best from the time she started pre-school. A broken wrist at age 7 lead to her fascination with medicine and her determination to become a doctor. She started at medical school on Trill at the early age 17, a testament to her drive and ambition and graduated with honours six years later, having specialised in Trill and symbiont joining and duly submitted her application to the Symbiosis Committee for Joining. | |||
