The small city of Mon'gel is located in the center of a series of large plains. It is in a group of gentle rolling hills that surround a large deep valley. The city is built among those hills and completely surrounds the valley.
In the center of the valley stands the statue of Mon'gel. It stands over 50 feet tall. A strong masculin warrior of unknown race. He holds a brutal looking sword in one hand and a savage looking axe in the other.
Occupants
The occupants of the city are the caretakers of the valley and the statue. For the most part they are those few mentally unstable and physically unfit refugees from the harsh rules and laws of their people that have managed to make the long dangerous trip accross their world to the safety of this city.
Here they are clanless but safe. They spend the rest of their lives struggleing to survive.
Importance of the Statue
At some point in every male Lamemda's life they are expected to make the trip to Mon'gel. Here they will offer up gifts to the caretakers before going to kneel at the feet of the statue of Mon'gel.
Women and children are not allowed to enter the valley, nor are they allowed to enter the hills around it. This is one of the few laws that all the clans have and obey.
