Morro’s parents are reasonably notable and successful pirates amongst the Orion Syndicate Remnants but even they have fallen on difficult times inside their own organization. They are ruthless and without most morals, doing what they need to in order to survive living on the fringes of space. They have a deep hatred for Starfleet and what Starfleet did to the once great Orion syndicate.

Z’mat is Morro’s older sister (born 2374). She is a brilliant social manipulator. She did not approve of Morro’s move to StarFleet. She has kept up minimal communication, only getting in contact with Morro every couple months or so. He is unaware of her true current activities, but she tells him all is well.
