Kylr grew up on a farm outside of Jacob’s Landing on the southern continent of Terra Nova. It was by far the most boring thing he has ever experienced. The closest child to his own age was his sister, who was older by 5 years and as such was doing her own thing, leaving young Kylr to roam on his own through the fields and forests surrounding the family home. | |||
Because of this he developed into a socially awkward introvert with quite an imagination. Book nerd would be an apt description of Kylr. Trees became soldiers and small boulders grew into huge castles or fortresses. The freshly tilled fields became post apocalyptic wastelands. It also meant he had few distractions from his schoolwork. He did well in school and could have gone on to a university, but instead chose a career in the noncommisioned ranks of Starfleet, hoping he could just become a face in the crowd.
