Manius Todd
  • Todd
    • Medical Officer - USS Darwin-A
Doctor Cook first met fellow Doctor Manius for a brief moment where introductions were interrupted before being getting thrown into Cooks first away mission. On the planet Zackdorn the away team with Cook and Manius had to deal with a female who's leg's were pinned under heavy rubble. To make matters worse this female was pregnant. They both worked together to perform a double amputation. To everyone the mission was a success, however to both the doctors it was a disaster there was nothing they could do to save the Zackdorn people. Moving on Graeme has worked closely with Todd and following his footsteps in trying to be OCD in the way sickbay looks. One thing both have a share of is a nice bottle of whiskey. Both hailing from Scotland they can give as good as they can get when it comes to jokes. Graeme still cant wait to see Todd in a dress. One thing is for sure Graeme has no siblings and he would class Todd as a brother more than a friend, he would also trust Todd with his life.

    • Civilian - Outpost Unity
Lyna Namid is an unknown alien species called Ash'lie. Their coming to meet was by chance of a weak SOS that lead the USS Darwin-A to planet called Brut III. An away team was sent down to the jungle to investigate what looked like a crash site investigating the team found they were harboring Lyna against her will. Earning Lyna's trust was no easy task. Upon getting Lyna back aboard the Darwin the extent of her injuries were to the most extreme. Graeme spent hours by her side operating and repairing her frail petite body. Eventually coming round the next barrier to overcome was the language of the Ash'lie the but with the help of Lieutenant Lyldra that barrier soon became overcome. Having spent a lot of time with Lyna and understanding her problems of being away from her home world and having no one around her, Graeme made sure she was safe, he had Lyna helping out in the sickbay, where she was a great help to the staff department. After a little while Graeme treated Lyna to an afternoon in the holodeck sharing a snow experience and letting out there is fun to be had on the board the Darwin. Sadly there was currently talk about Graeme that he does too much for the Ash'lie and talk and rumors almost made him flip his lid. On the night of the masquerade ball Graeme turned up dateless but by the end of it (Maxwell Traenor did this on purpose.) Lyna was left with Graeme and he took the opportunity and that he didn't care what anyone thought. He asked Lyna to dance even when the music stopped they continued to dance. This is one friendship Graeme will cherish for a long time. This Friendship has now blossomed into a romance that to be honest he never seen coming. Whilst Graeme is serving on the Darwin, Lyna resides on Unity helping Lyldra with diplomatic work. though they are at times light years apart, his heart grows fonder of Lyna everyday.

Professional History

Graeme was alone growing up and struggled to study whilst at school. His father paid for him to study privately to ensure he had the best education. However Graeme wanted nothing more but to spend time with his parents but they were far from home. Posted to starport to starport and was raised by his uncle who was not really a role model. He taught him about Scottish heritage and why whiskey is good for you! During his years at school Graeme never really stuck in he was threatened with exclusion, not for being a bad child but wanting to practise operating procedures on other kids. At the age of 12 he had sedated his friend and was about to check what was behind his rib cage, but if his father never came home on leave and walked in on what was happening Graeme probably would have continued. His Father shocked but inspired he took early retirement and proceeded to help Graeme into finishing school to progress into University and follow the footsteps of his father. During his time at university he quickly became a potential making of a medical officer. After graduating he realised he lusts for adventure, but has to endure and graduate with Starfleet. Graeme has an attitude to anyone his level but isn't afraid to speak his mind even tho it might land him in trouble, he will say how it is. But his father did teach him manners and to repeat his peers but maybe it was a little late. The soft approach is not really the Scottish way.
