Sarynn Standing Together was born on Earth on 235207.08. He belongs to the Western Cherokee Nation in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains near the Illinois River of the Oklahoma. He self-identifies as a Cherokee Two-Spirit in the Paint Clan among the Seven Clans of the Cherokee. His formative years were spent among the Clans various education programs, including a science internship at New Berlin on the Moon and the Daystrom Institute of Technology on Mars. Standing Together attended the University of Tahlequah to complete his Master of Education around 2358. He returned to his Paint Clan lands and began teaching at the local S.T.E.M. [Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics] Academy. He continued to teach at the Academy until the end of 2388. Standing Together began his Starfleet Academy training in the Science Division. His specialization include Astrophysics and Chemistry.
