Captain Oskari Virtanen

Oskari Virtanen is a 51-year-old human pirate captain affiliated with the band of pirates in the Shoals known as the Shadow's Teeth. His ship is the Marketta, named after his ex-wife. He and the Marketta have navigated the hazardous area known as the Shadows numerous times, delivering supplies and news to the Seheik Settlement of the Reya-Laialara that lies hidden within. One particular resident of the settlement that Oskari often does jobs for is Evan Delano, a Federation Security undercover operative, although as far as the pirate captain is concerned, Delano is just another follower of the Vulcan sect.
