History:

Jeremy was born in a small town in southern Minnesota, United States, Earth. His father was a sheriff and his mother a teacher. He was very close to his father and intended on following him and becoming a sheriff as well. When he was twelve years old, the family moved to San Francisco where his mother got a job as a professor. While he was in San Francisco, Jeremy spent much of his free time walking around the Starfleet Academy grounds. The more time he spent around Starfleet personnel, the more he became attracted to the idea of joining Starfleet himself.

He enrolled in the Academy after high school with a concentration in Security, the closest thing to a sheriff on a starship. While at the Academy, Jeremy excelled greatly at courses within his major, but did not truly apply himself in engineering and science courses. It was mostly the potential for new races that excited him about exploration, so when Jeremy was not practicing his security tactics, he studied extraterrestrial races with fascination.
