Personal History

The son of Admiral John Hutton, Chris spent much of his life travelling on different starships and living the Starfleet life. Eventually, Chris would attend Harvard University where he studied Computer Science; specifically Borg adaptations to Starfleet technology based on transmissions from U.S.S. Voyager in the Delta Quadrant. During his studies, Chris became involved in a Maquis sympathizer group under the tutelage of a Harvard professor. However, instead of venting his frustration over Federation/Cardassian dealings with the Maquis, Chris decided to try and make a difference as a science officer in Starfleet.

Although he attempts to remain acute in the academia of science in Starfleet, Hutton now serves as the commanding officer of the USS STEADFAST-A.

Hutton is a dedicated yet easy-going officer whose hobbies include listening to music, computer research, Japanese holo-novels, and martial arts.

He has recently become engaged to FC Jessa Anassasi of the USS INDEPENDENCE; and he has also "acquired" a son of sorts when during a mission on the STEADFAST, Hutton encountered his mirror-self along with a son that was born between the Mirror-Hutton and the mirror version of FC Anassasi. Hutton brought that son back with him to our universe where he now attempts to create a relationship with a boy whose only knowledge of Hutton is of his cruel and corrupt Mirror-self.

Professional History

Served aboard the USS KODIAK for most of his career, starting on Stardate 237703.01. During that time, Hutton served as Chief Science Officer, published numerous scientific articles, and catalogued several new lifeforms including the mysterious Cetacean species of the Web Nebula and the Indrum of Kismet. He is also a noted conference speaker on both the philosophy and the linguistics of science.

Assigned as First Officer of USS Kodiak on Stardate 237905.20

Assigned as Commanding Officer of USS Isannah on Stardate 238001.01.

Assigned as Commanding Officer of newly commissioned vessel USS Steadfast on Stardate 238003.23

On Stardate 238203.31, the saucer section of the STEADFAST is lost without possibility of repair due to a Breen attack.

For the next two months, Captain Hutton takes his crew to man and supervise the repair and restoration of STARBASE NEW HOPE.

On Stardate 238207.12, a newly modified Galaxy-class USS Steadfast-A (comprised of the original stardrive section combined with a new saucer section) is commissioned and placed under the command of Captain Hutton.

Only months after the commissioning of the new STEADFAST-A, Hutton was re-assigned to command the crew of the USS Morningstar. The crew of the STEADFAST stayed with their newly promoted Captain T'Pen on the USS Challenger.

After his promotion to the rank of Fleet Captain, Hutton was placed in command of Zeta Fleet; and he co-ordinated actions and assignemtns for several vessels while simultaneously leading the MORNINGSTAR.

Hutton's tour of duty aboard the MORNINGSTAR would only last a couple of assignments. Under circumstances that are still classified by Starfleet Command, the MORNINGSTAR was de-commissioned and Hutton was re-assigned to the now re-commissioned USS STEADFAST-A. Hutton was also temporarily removed from command of Zeta Fleet.

The STEADFAST-A's current assignment is to provide officer training to younger commissioned officers.

During his career as a commanding officer, Hutton has become most noted for various diplomatic endeavours that include first contact with several species and the mediation of conflicts between Federation worlds.
