Alidar was the son of Letant, an education official, and Rakal, a clerk in a construction company in Ki Baratan, the capital city of Romulus. Belonging to a humble caste and of no real importance. They managed to get their children engaged to couples of evenly matched castes without any problem, they were humble but blameless under Romulan morals and laws. | |||

Background
Alidar was the son of Letant, an education official, and Rakal, a clerk in a construction company in Ki Baratan, the capital city of Romulus. Belonging to a humble caste and of no real importance. They managed to get their children engaged to couples of evenly matched castes without any problem, they were humble but blameless under Romulan morals and laws.
Shortly after finishing his studies, he got a job on different merchant ships. Leading a relatively simple life away from Romulus. Which at a certain point allowed him, by simple luck, to be off the planet when the Hobus incident occurred. His family, including his wife, were not as fortunate, belonging to a "lowly" caste they had no preference when boarding refugee transports. And after the supernova they have not been heard from again, they are officially considered dead.
