Commander Esma is a 63-year-old Vulcan/Romulan engineering officer working with the Advanced Starship Design Bureau.
After her time on Amity Outpost, Esma continued to serve diligently as a Starfleet engineer, working her way up the ranks and to higher and more prestigious assignments. Once war broke out with the Tholians and Sheliak, she served on the frontlines as a combat engineer with the Starfleet Corps of Engineers, earning several medals for valor and engineering ingenuity. In 2442, she is working at the Advanced Starship Design Bureau, overseeing the development of Starfleet's next generation of starships.
