Background
Born on Earth in 2373 to colonial doctor Eliza Farvor and a Vulcan who did not want to be involved in the child's life.
Move from colony to colony for 10 years before settling on Rygel VII at age 10 in 2383.
Lack of contact with other Vulcans results in Linna coming up with alternative coping methods for her at times overwhelming Vulcan passions, the foremost (and least productive) of which is fighting. Her belief in justice helps temper that edge for productive use, becoming a a semi-official security officer at age 20 in 2393.
At age 21 in 2394, Linna is inspecting an incoming freighter when she detects a miniaturized cloaking field, which was hiding a stowaway: Janhesha, a young humanoid of unknown origin or provenance who had been using her frightening instinct for complex engineering to stowaway from colony to colony and elude law enforcement. Janhesha led Linna on a cat and mouse chase across the colony that lasted 2 days before Linna was able to corner and befriend her. Determining that Janhesha had no ill intentions and was just surviving, she manages to get charges dropped for Janhesha and develops a very close bond with her.
These events are what inspired Linna to apply for Starfleet on the Security track, to further use her aggressive edge for the benefit of others.
Joined Starfleet Academy at age 24 in 2397, and shunned any close friendships while also excelling in a variety of sports.
Graduated Starfleet Academy at age 28 in 2401.
