A Defiant-class ship, the USS Avenger was under the command of Captain Erik Maximoff until he and his remaining crew made off with the Avenger, and sources say he may have headed directly for the Orion Syndicate. In 2388, the Avenger was discovered in an Orion shipyard in the Badlands, and was subsequently liberated by Parker, Hannibal and the USS Ronin and returned to Starfleet custody.
