Kallo Ver

Kallo Ver is a Valtese 'trader' once arrested by Lt. Commander Sky Blake for smuggling narcotics colonial space. He escaped from the Edria City marshal's office about a month later, quite literally slipping through the hands of his arresting officers. He was apparently on board the freighter Tiburon when it destroyed Yorba Station, and is the only known survivor of the incident when he was discovered by the crew of the USS Veritas in 2394.

In 2395, he arrives at Outpost 3 to give the repair crews much needed materials and equipment to get the outpost operating at capacity again. However, in return, he asks Captain Roshanara Rahman for a favour in future.

Though Kallo is a common criminal, he has never lied to an investigative officer regarding his crimes, often to their surprise, being totally truthful about all facts to the point of explaining whom his accomplices are and where they can be found (much to their irritation) - however, there have been the rare occasions where Kallo lies by omission. He generally believes honesty is the best policy regardless of his rather illegal escapades. Kallo is, however, incredibly difficult to catch and keep in one place, quite slippery and a master of escapes. He is also not heartless, unwilling to leave Veritas crew members to be harmed when the Tiburon begins to collapse in on itself, rendering assistance without being prompted.
