Backstory/Timeline

Farinda joined Starfleet as a way to search for the Josainari, the originators of her species. She, like the rest of her species, deeply reveres the stars. She requested service on the Drake, and to be the personal yeoman of Sakorra Reed, because of the Vulcan's history as the temporary host of the star known as Eratis. Not knowing the full of Sakorra's personal history, knowing only that she was once in human form and is now in Vulcan form, and not knowing the particulars of this alteration, Farinda has a misguided theory that Sakorra may actually be descended from the Eratis star, which is why the Vulcan was chosen as a host several years ago.
