Yearly Non Playable Characters (YNPCs) are a unique character that go with Fleet Plot Arcs/Blockbusters. Though not all might have them, the idea behind these characters is to create a point of reference or a familiar face that all the ships can talk to or deal with. This can be an admiral assigning missions In Character for ship captains or the main villain that people are trying to catch.
Only officers in command position of a vessel and FWPA facilitators are authorized to play YNPCs.
