The USS Eagle is currently docked in the huge spacedocks of StarBase 118. The ship has not yet been assigned and its launch has been delayed by a recurrence of a computer system failure.
The end of the Dominion War has meant that the Eagle's repair work has been put on hold as other repair work is prioritized. An Intrepid-class vessel, the ship will be categorized as an explorer, on a deep space mission.
