A Draaf is a large, carnivorous animal native to the jungles of Shadow's Edge.
Draafs are furred creatures that have six cat-like eyes with golden irises and poison green sclera. They have several rows of razor sharp teeth and six-inch claws. The creatures are incredibly resilient and can remain conscious even after a direct hit from a phaser.
Some Draafs have been "tamed" enough to be used as tracking and attack animals for their handlers, although such practice is illegal on Shadow's Edge. Patrik Novak was one such Draaf handler.
