Adding a Character who doesn't have an ID subpage

You should create an ID subpage for each character you wish to add to your PC/main roster.

However, there may be times when you wish to add a character to a roster who does not have an ID subpage, such as if you are creating a roster for an NPC ship. Follow the instructions below.

Adding the Officer

• OFFICER NAMES are written in the following format:

Example:

Adding a Portrait

To add a portrait for the officer, add the file name of their portrait to the end of the listing.

Manually adjusting the image

The template will automatically crop and resize the image for you. However, you can manually tweak the crop and resizing by adding up to three additional variables after the image name.

• The first number moves the image up that number of pixels.
• The second number moves the image to the left that number of pixels.
• The third image zooms the image that many times from the original automatic crop.

Colors

Use these color names, including capitalization.

Red, Gold, Blue, Teal, Violet, Black, Silver, Green

Change Pip Style

Eight Starfleet pip styles are supported: the default, "DS9style", "Slanted", "RetroSlanted", "STO" (Star Trek Online), "FI" (Future Imperfect) style, "FC" (First Contact) style, and "TOS" (The Original Series) style.

• To activate DS9 style, add "STYLE=DS9" to every officer you wish to have in that style.
  • Only Black or Red Ambassador is available in this set.
• To activate Slanted style, add "STYLE=Slanted" to every officer you wish to have in that style.
  • Only Silver Civilian is available, and only Red Ambassador in this set.
• To activate RetroSlanted style, add "STYLE=RetroSlanted" to every officer you wish to have in that style.
• To activate STO style, add "STYLE=STO" to every officer you wish to have in that style.
  • Violet and Silver colors are unavailable in this set, and Blank/Civilian and Ambassador ranks are unavailable.
• To activate FI style, add "STYLE=FI" to every officer you wish to have in that style.
  • Orange, Black, Silver, and White colors are available in this set, however Marine ranks are unavailable.
• To activate FC style, add "STYLE=FC" to every officer you wish to have in that style.
  • Maroon, Red, Orange, Gold, Olive, Green, Teal, Blue, Navy, Lavender, Pink, Violet, Black, Silver, Off-White, White are available in this set for all ranks except Ambassador.
• To activate TOS style, add "STYLE=TOS" to every officer you wish to have in that style.
  • Gold, Blue, and Red are available in this set. Ranks are crewman and ensign through fleet admiral.

You can also call up the Romulan pip set and the Cardassian pip set.

• To activate Klingon style, add "STYLE=Klingon" to every officer you wish to have in that style.
  • Use ranks as specified on Template:KlingonPips.
• To activate Romulan style, add "STYLE=Romulan" to every officer you wish to have in that style.
  • Use ranks as specified on Template:RomulanPips.
• To activate Cardassian style, add "STYLE=Cardassian" to every officer you wish to have in that style.
  • Use ranks as specified on Template:CardassianPips.
• To activate Romulan style, add "STYLE=Romulan" to every officer you wish to have in that style.
  • Use ranks as specified on Template:RomulanPips.
• To activate Romulan Republic style, add "STYLE=Romulan Republic" to every officer you wish to have in that style.
  • Use ranks as specified on Template:RomulanRepuPips.
• To activate Tholian style, add "STYLE=Tholian" to every officer you wish to have in that style.
