Any member can receive a general award. One general award, per vessel, is allowed per ceremony.
- The Order of Starfleet Merit and Achievement (TOSMA): This award is given to members who show great dedication in their behavior, and simming abilities. A candidate for TOSMA I regularly contributes good, solid ideas to the plot and character development. They also take the time to edit and proof-read their sims to ensure quality in their writing.
- The Genesis Award (The Most Improved Simmer Award): For officers who show conspicuous effort in improving their simming skills.
- The Scotty Cross: Given to an officer who shows extreme creativity while solving a plot dilemma or in character plot twist.
