Though Kallo is a common criminal, he has never lied to an investigative officer regarding his crimes, often to their surprise, being totally truthful about all facts to the point of explaining whom his accomplices are and where they can be found (much to their irritation). Kallo is, however, incredibly difficult to catch and keep in one place, quite slippery and a master of escapes. Kallo Ver is a Valtese 'trader' once arrested by Lt. Commander Sky Blake for smuggling narcotics colonial space. He escaped from the Edria City marshal's office about a month later. He was apparently on board the freighter Tiburon when it destroyed Yorba Station, and is the only known survivor of the incident when he was discovered by the crew of the USS Veritas in 2394.
