Originally commissioned in 2320, Deep Space 224 is a starbase located in the The Borderlands close to Klingon space, and nearby to a neutron star by the name of Klatax. The station was all most mothballed and on a closer list for several decades until the Dominion War. The Station was reactivated back to full active service.
