What relevence do those pics have to the character? Could such be explained please? If they're not connected to the character, they shouldn't be on the character page. Any that aren't needed please tag with {{delete}} as Pics take up bandwidth which costs the group money. - Lt. SalakTalk 07:33, 11 February 2008 (CST)
- Well there isn't a set limit but a page only really needs so many pics. if the ship pics belong to a faction then maybe put them on a seperate page about that faction? At least caption them so the rationale behind them being there makes sense to the casual reader? - Lt. SalakTalk 12:40, 13 February 2008 (CST)
- Are you on IM at all? My msn is same as my e-mail and my yim is burwellian. I've got an AIM account but it's very rarely used. Might be able to help you with the wiki coding. The character page itself seems fine at the moment. As for the pics, ask yourself perhaps what each picture shows about your character that isn't shown in other pics on the page? Any that don't add anything should be deleted. You could write pages for family as others have done, e.g. T'Pel is Salaks sister, Culemerwin-Devar, Keiran is the son of Devar, Alana. Settings important to the characters background can have own pages written too (e.g. Vulcan Embassy, Andoria). The wiki aims to be as complete as possible, and pages similar to those mentioned might be better for the pictures to be placed upon whilst also adding to the background information, the depth of info here on the wiki. Oh, and please remember to add 4 tildes on the end of any talk page comments (e.g. ~~~~) - Lt. SalakTalk 13:11, 19 February 2008 (CST)

- Firstly, please remember the tildes on talk pages. Secondly, We have got Template:Planet which could be used. Alternatively, can always set up a new template. Thirdly, for Wiki links, put the page title in square brackets (e.g. [[Fanel, Jacen]]) instead of posting the full link. For links to Wikipedia and Memory Alpha, add wp: or ma: respectivelyto the front of the link and add a vertical pipe (e.g. |) on the end. Thus the code [[ma:Earth|]] will become the link Earth. - Lt.
