I was thinking that the "The Kabbalah Tree of Life derived from the Flower of Life." image on the wiki link would suffice for background but there is also the creature mentioned in trek-animations that would be a possible similar idea. Agmar being the plant life that is most similar to the tree of life I like how Agmar wears the Flower of life around his/her neck.
