==Personal History==
She wasn’t like all the other kids on the station but when you live on a space station everyone knows you and for the most part respects and accepts you or is just flat out scared to the beejeezees of you and will doing anything to appease you. Now granted upon first glance who would expect that a mere young Betazoid girl would be anyone to fear; but she was. Not for her appearance as she was most heavenly, with long dark curly hair and beautiful blue eyes with a figure that would make any mans heart skip a beat; no actually there was nothing that could be feared from her appearance… It was her mind that gave those that knew her a reason to fear her, for she knew of things before they would happen, a seer from what some say. That of course was natural by all tense for a Betazoid, after all Betazoids are born Empaths and it was natural for them to feel the emotions and thoughts of others, a gift to the new universal order of the Federation is what was propagandized. No, it was her unnatural abilities that scared most. Her foresight and ability to see the future, and also for the fact that she had the mind and body of an eighteen year old but in fact she was only eight years old in actual Earth years; a fact that didn’t help much either. ::
B’Sara Cavann, came to DS17 nearly three years ago with her now deceased mother who at the time worked at one of the private health providers at the station. It was a time when the station had just gone through the worst battle of its existence and it was during this period of despair that privateers prayed upon the weak.
Her mother B’Selle was one of those unsuspecting who became victim. At the time it had seemed like nothing more than an opportunity to help others, after-all B’Selle really didn’t have many skills other than her empathic abilities but that was a skill that she had suppressed; she wanted nothing to do with reading others minds and for the most part despised her born ability, so she kept to herself, which for a single young woman of only twenty-three it was almost impossible as nearly every young man she came upon wanted her. This didn’t go by unnoticed by a geneticist named Ellaine DelaSouza who  recognized the young B’Selles’s abilities and cunningly took advantage of the woman’s naivety by offering her a job as a nurse in her clinic. The problem was this clinic was only a front for the eccentric doctor to prey upon the unsuspecting by using them for her own sick genetic fantasies.
The proclaimed Doctor DelaSousa had a dream; she wanted to breed the perfect Human and to her advantage, she had B’Selle, a young beautiful wanton female, and by that notion, she was the perfect guinea pig for her experiment. It was an easy task; by taking advantage of B’Selle’s lascivious behavior she was able have the young woman drugged and impregnated, but this was not just any pregnancy, it was the accumulation of all that DelaSousa lived for… perfection.
After B’Sara was born, B’Selle stayed with DelaSousa for the next five years of B’Sara’s life working as a nurse while raising little B’Sara, thus allowing the doctor the opportunity to cultivate her creation. Fortunately for B’Sara and for that matter the universe, her life with the doctor would soon end.
In 2384, life would change; it was the opportunity of a lifetime. All around the quadrant the talk was about Deep Space Seventeen and her battle with the Gorn, that along with loss of the USS Independence gave DS17 the perfect place to set up her Medical Offices, a guise of course for her genetic lab. Everything was going according to plan; that of course was until B’Selle discovered the truth about her daughter. Records indicate B’Selles death was from an attack by a rogue Gorn, though it is also believed that the Gorn was in fact an assassin hired by DelaSousa. A subsequent investigation by Starfleet Security led by Lt. Ban Storos also found evidence linking DelaSousa with unlawful genetic research when the doctor set off a bomb in the clinic in a failed attempt to destroy the evidence. A long term investigation continues and a criminal warrant has been issued for DelaSousa who continues to elude capture to this day.
B’Sara also fell victim on that day, a day which began like any other day, B’Sara had been enjoying the afternoon with her mother B’Selle and were on their way back to their quarters when they were confronted by their assailant, her mother was fatally attacked while B’Sara managed to escape by hiding within a utility closet. Alone, crying and in total fear she hid until being found by a science officer named Allen Cruise who then took the her to sickbay, it was there that the young girl met her angels, the ones that would care and comfort her through the tragic loss of her mother. Her angels of course were Starfleet Officers from the once proud Starship USS Independence; in order they were the Admiral Jessa Anassasi (ret) LtCmdr Sidney Riley, LtCmdr Then Lt. David Cody, Lt. Alana Devar (ret) and Ensign Allen Cruise now LtCmdr. Of course all played an instrumental role in B’Sara’s life but none no more than Commander Cody for he was always there for her, he was the closest person in the universe she could ever come to actually thinking of as father, but even with that she hadn’t seen the man in over two years and in that time alone she has genetically mutated into the woman she is now; a direct result of some freak genetic fingerprint that began wreaking havoc with her body about three years ago and up until now she existed in a world that seemed to go at the speed of sound.
