	One of the early ships of the Fleet, the '''USS Alliance''' was commissioned originally in August of 2371 and lost in February of 2374 after an engagement with a group of Klingon ships. ~~The~~ Captain and First Officer [[Paine, Logan \| Logan Paine]] did manage to recapture the Alliance, but at too great of cost. It was decided to decommission the USS Alliance in lieu of the arrival of the [[USS Alliance-A]] shortly after.
