+One of the early ships of the Fleet, the '''USS Alliance''' was lost in February of 2374 after an engagement with a group of Klingon ships. The Captain and First Officer [[Paine, Logan | Logan Paine]] did manage to recapture the Alliance, but at too great of cost. It was decided to decommission the USS Alliance in lieu of the arrival of the [[USS Alliance-A]] shortly after.
