Lt. Cmdr. '''Rune Jolara''', an [[Al-Leyan]], is currently assigned to the [[USS Excalibur-A]] as Intelligence Officer. She's previously served as Ship's Counselor, Intelligence Officer, Diplomatic Officer and Special Operations Officer on several ships around the Fleet.  
Lt. Cmdr. '''Rune Jolara''', an [[Al-Leyan]], is currently assigned to the [[Amity Outpost]] as Strategic Operations and Intelligence Officer. Her diverse experience in Starfleet has seen her serving in a multitude of positions, including Ship's Counselor, Intelligence Officer, Diplomatic Officer, and Special Operations Officer across various ships within the Fleet.  


Growing up in a strict and conservative society, Rune always tried to conform and follow what had been determined to be her "Branch". However, as hard as she tried to fight it, she was still different. That difference was frowned upon by other Al-Leyans. When she was 16 she was forced to undergo "Attitude Readjustment Treatment," or so she thought that's what it was. Now, in Starfleet, she is faced with many challenges, one of which is breaking completely away from her people and their beliefs. Not an easy task when someone else has other plans for her life and will stop at nothing to get her to return home.
Born into a stringent and traditional society, Rune tirelessly strived to conform to her prescribed "Branch." However, despite her best efforts, she couldn't escape the fact that she was inherently different—a trait that drew disapproval from her fellow Al-Leyans. At the age of 16, she found herself subjected to what she believed to be "Attitude Readjustment Treatment." In her Starfleet journey, Rune encountered a multitude of trials, one of which involved breaking free from her people's deeply rooted beliefs. It was a long and challenging road, but she has learned to embrace her true self and take pride in who she has become.
