The mission began with preparing Sickbay, Meidra, Genkos, T'Suran and Aine Sherlock discussed what would be needed for an away team and supplies were gathered. Doctor Adea sent T’Suran and Sherlock to aid injuries around the ship caused by their trip through the Celendi Nebula. Meidra almost immediately felt the frustration of one of the Sau officers and had a tenuous connection with him, though they did not communicate. Genkos went on the away team mission, the captain telling her that she was in charge is Sickbay in Genkos’ absence. During the mission, the Sau pilot had decided to plunge the large ship they flew into the planet, freeing the slaves that had been stolen out of time. She heard their decision, sending comfort to him in his final moments. | |||
She also began feeling the emotions of Hamsan Dwich, though she did not realize it until she went down to Sickbay and overheard him asking T’Suran about her. It started a reaction in her katra that went beyond mere attraction, she felt a pull to know more about him, even though she wasn’t sure he would welcome it. Shortly thereafter, the captain was sent to Sickbay to have emergency surgery. She worked with Dwich and their connection grew during the procedure.
