Focused primarily on her work aboard the Veritas, Blake usually spends little time socializing with the rest of the crew unless prompted by others to do so. She dislikes speaking of her personal life whilst on duty, and is still uncomfortable when doing so off-duty - as such, her primary go-to conversation topic is their duties within the Shoals. It is evident that she takes her job and learned mannerisms within the Shoals seriously, as she thoroughly believes in the rules of engagement set for the area. Because of this, she is considered by her fellow crew to have a particularly 'sharp' demeanor. When irritated, she becomes considerably cold and blunt, but if Blake is known for one thing, it's that she hardly raises her voice to other officers.

Regardless, Blake is of a calm and collected temperament, receptive to criticism, and is a cool-headed thinker unwilling to take unnecessary risks. She relies on her crew mates counsel for most matters, as despite having served in the Shoals for an extended period of time, the reality is she has the ''least'' amount of experience than any officer aboard the Veritas, due to retrograde amnesia. She will ask questions and press superior officers when she believes more information is required for herself and or the crew, though never usually does so guns-blazing. Blake is, however, occasionally referred to the 'doom and gloom' character, often verbalizing worst case scenarios to a point of fault - though she is not without positivity.
Regardless, Blake is of a calm and collected temperament, receptive to criticism, and is a cool-headed thinker unwilling to take unnecessary risks. She relies on her crew mates counsel for most matters, as despite having served in the Shoals for longer than her fellow senior staff members, the reality is she has the ''least'' amount of experience as a Starfleet officer, due to retrograde amnesia. She will ask questions and press superior officers when she believes more information is required for herself and or the crew, though never usually does so guns-blazing.

Her spouse, [[Sabor]], was reportedly killed during domestic terrorism attacks on Brekka four months after their son's birth - Blake still struggles with his death, and due to suffering severe memory loss surrounding the events that led to the tragedy, she struggles to communicate surfacing emotions regarding Sabor to her counselors simply because she is unable to remember much of her life with her husband. Colleagues and friends of Blake have noticed her tendency towards alcohol whilst off duty, though for now, such behaviour has yet to prove problematic or consequential to her day to day duties. Some have even noted that, once Sabor is mentioned, she moves on to water for the rest of the night.
Blake is occasionally referred to the 'doom and gloom' character by her fellow crew, often verbalizing worst case scenarios to a point of fault - though she is not without positivity. She surrounds herself deliberately with colour, having subscribed rather heavily into Ornaran colour psychology, and is considerably bright and charismatic when faced with relaxed social settings that don't involve her Starfleet uniform. Perhaps to a fault, Blake can usually be found in a civilian bar, chatting up locals and becoming suspiciously cozy with the bartender.

Blake believes in having a network of information, and takes it upon herself to get to know civilians twice over before the ship moves on to a new place. Though not claiming to be a people person, she is quick to latch into conversation with establishment owners - though the likelihood that they eventually provide her with worthwhile information is low. The rumor is she just likes civilian gossip.
