Taelon's family is a complex matter for him; he left his mother's compound only recently, and their relationship is still strained. His other relatives are distant and busy, and are largely and unknown to him. While he had a longing to be closer to his family, so far all those he's met tend to diminish him in one way or another. Nowadays he generally tries to avoid all of them except his father.

Overall, Taelon tends to isolate himself and watch others from afar, respecting their abilities but not really engaging them for fear of rejection and annoying them. This means that while he has many people he's fond of, he's not friends with many - and even those he befriends can find him difficult, as he withdraws easily.

His generally energetic personality and regular checkups have ensured the two maintain a frequent correspondence.

It speaks with a female voice and is able to transform into many forms, including a walking mode.
