Amira was born on Leya-I the homeworld of her race, she had very loving parents that gave her everything they could. As she grow up she made many friends and joined in as many extra scientific things she could, though she was an adventurer at heart so often would go on random walks. Thankfully with some advances in technology that the Al-Leyan’s managed to gain from the klingons, they’d made a small device that was fitted to Al-Leyan’s windpipes to regulate the intake of oxygen and nitrogen though every now and again it would not completely help. | |||
Amira didn’t care about the 1% times that the device didn’t work and she would have to stop, it would give her a chance to see the galaxy and explore the outer reaches. After her recovery from the operation to install it she applied to starfleet in the chance they would let her join. After several tests and interviews she was finally accepted. | |||
