In 2401, the ''Kitty Hawk'', still under command of Captain Rahman, attended the [[Frontier Day]] celebrations on Earth. En route, they attempted to chase down the rogue {{USS|Titan}} only to find themselves dealing with saboteurs and changelings - one even taking the face of Captain Rahman. Once at Earth, the ''Kitty Hawk'' was pulled into the Frontier Day conflict with the rest of the fleet in attendance, and experienced heavy loss of life as the Borg-assimilated crewmembers rampaged across the ship and the {{USS|Artemis}} fired upon it under fleet formation control.
