Bilara Vel is an older crew member of the '' | Bilara Vel is an older crew member of the ''Khitomer'', having been born and raised during the Cardassian Occupation of Bajor. She is often quiet, but knowledgeable. She's described as short and 'pleasantly plump'. Vel was a sort of teacher during the Occupation and excelled in the sciences. When Bajor joined the Federation she travelled to Earth and enlisted in Starfleet. She's part of the "Study Group", the affectionate nickname of the Science Department coined by [[Quentin Collins]], now adopted by [[Maz Rodan]]. | ||
