Backstory
Born and raised on Boreth, Myrna grew up in the monastery where her mother served Kahless, the cloned and reincarnated Emperor of the Klingon Empire. Her father was a member of the Klingon High Council, absent for most of her life. As soon as she could wield a blade, she underwent the Trials and survived in the brutal wilderness for a year without any assistance. Upon completion of the sacred rite of passage, Myrna joined the Klingon Defense Forces as a combat medic. She had learnt the herbal remedies of her ancestors and used them during both the Klingon-Federation and Dominion Wars to treat her fallen comrades.
After her fathers murder by the Founders, she returned to Boreth to grieve with her mother for his honorless death and secure him a place in Sto-Vo-Kor. Eventually, she was invited to join the Starfleet Marine Corps and continue on the honorable path of the healer. She is a maternal Klingon in the truest sense of the word, devoted to protecting life in any way she might so long as honor is maintained. She is a fearless warrior and sometimes a little too much so, leading her healing methods and bedside manner to be criticized by many non-Klingons.
