	COUNSELORS' NOTES 239603.27 Condition: None Groznin Smith is Jang of Upex's adopted father. From a Counselor's point of view, Groznin Smith is doing honestly his best. Mr. Smith had to raise a 9 year old Klingon from a blood oath, an unusual set of circumstances for the both of them, to be certain. From speaking with Jang, I can tell Groznin isn't a hands off father but neither is he too protective over his son. I believe Groznin is doing an excellent job with Jang, and even though Jang is now officially a teenager, which is bound to test the boundaries of their relationship with one another, this Counselor is certain that Groznin will be able to do his best. Proposed Action Plan: None Counselor Thoughts: I haven't met Mr. Smith yet. I can tell he's a good father by the way Jang speaks about him. He doesn't have pure contempt but he's not overly attached either. He speaks kindly about him, albeit frustrated with him, both manners that are easily understood with his age. Jang was upset that Mr. Smith now is going out more with his new significant other, and while I may agree that Mr. Smith should check in with Jang, I'm also of the mind that Mr. Smith deserves to start having a romantic life as well. From the gossip around, Mr. Smith is an eager man who is always up to helping someone out. Perhaps one of these days I may go and find him, speak with him a little, see how he and Jang are handling teenager hood.
