Personal History
Undersecretary Dentak is a quiet, nosy man from Genti II. He was responsible for scanning the brains of the crew - as per Gentii custom - for signs of dishonesty or misdirection in the upcoming negotiations with Starfleet. He was made aware of the incident in which the crews personalities were switched and decided to keep it secret in the hopes that he could learn whether Starfleet were truly to be trusted or not.
He is deliberately exasperating and intrusive, causing instant friction between himself and Lt. Waters (who had body-swapped with Captain Shayne). At the start of the Bairiri he belittled the crews attempt at performance and ended up revealing the true nature of the incident with the probe.
When he realised how much the crew were in distress he was indeed humble and apologetic, and he and Renswi organized for the crew to swap back.
