Alana Culemerwin Devar, otherwise known as Alana, the Divine Lady of Peace and Protection or Lieutenant Commander Devar is a woman who seems to be involved in a perpetual cycle of emotions, duty, life and wisdom. After the birth of her three children, however, Alana has progressively transitioned from an emotional woman to one of tremendous strength, self-control and integrity. The Daughter of the 13th House of Betazed is the current Head of House, as deemed in an inauguration ceremony in mid-2384. This ceremony followed within the two week event of her cousin's marriage into the Second House of Betazed. She is currently a Federation Ambassador, and former crewmember of the USS Independence (holding such positions as Second Officer, Counselor, CMO, CSO, etc.) and USS Wallace (as First Officer).
