Hi Jackford,
I don't mind the pages being edited, although I've worked hard to get them set up so they are easily updated and the way I like them, but before you leave, would you make sure they are showing correctly? Toni 22:25, 2 May 2007 (CDT)Toni
?
Toni, please define "Player Non-Playing Characters" for me. It sounds like an oxymoron. Do you mean NPCs that are specific to PCs, rather than those NPCs that anyone can use? -Varaan
- I don't know what else to call them. They are NPC's created by and played by only specific PCs. We needed them separated, to avoid having them listed with the Ship NPCs that anyone can play. If there is a better way of establishing that difference, I would be greatful for the suggestion. T'Pen refers to them as "PNPCs" which I assume means "Player Non-Playing Characters" Toni 10:44, 16 May 2007 (CDT)
- Could also mean "Personal NPCs"(?) Might be a better term to use, to avoid confusion. -Varaan 11:13, 16 May 2007 (CDT)
- Sounds good to me. Whichever you think would be best if fine with me. Toni 06:26, 17 May 2007 (CDT)
Generic names for ship pages
Toni, please remember that any pages that apply to a specific ship, race, duty post, etc. need to be specifically named. For example, you can't use "Personal NPCs" for the Ronin, because it's possible another ship might want to create a page called "Personal NPCs" for their ship, as well. Each page's name is unique, and must be different from other pages. Thus, if you want to create a page like "Personal NPCs" for the Ronin, it needs to be "Ronin Personal NPCs." There's more information at Naming pages properly. --Wolf /talk page 19:15, 10 July 2007 (CDT)
