The USS Syracuse (NCC-77349) is a Saber class class vessel launched in 2388. Named for the historic city in Sicily, Earth, which was also the birthplace of the preeminent mathematician and engineer Archimedes, the Syracuse is assigned to the Starfleet Corps of Engineers and joined the Invicta Expedition as a support vessel to the USS Invicta in 2393, under the command of Commander Roshanara Rahman.
