The Character Hatchery is an area where members can create characters, and adopt characters. Looking for a new and interesting NPC? New to the group and looking for a primary character? Want a secondary character but not sure where to start? This is the place to be.

Creating a character

Everyone is welcome to create a character to be put up for adoption in the hatchery. There are some necessary guidelines, however, which can be found in the Creating Hatchery Characters tutorial.

Placing characters for adoption

If you currently have a character that you play regularly, and would like to put it up for adoption, you need to read the Placing Characters for Adoption tutorial.

Adopting a character

If you're interested in adopting one of the characters in the archive, the process is simple:

1. Choose your character.
2. Click "Edit" on that character's page.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
4. Remove the [[Category:HATCHERY-Characters]] tag.
5. Replace the category with: [[Category:HATCHERY-Adopted Characters]].
6. Add any additional categories as necessary. (Characters category, ship category, etc.)
