Growing Up

Trolin grew up moving from starbase to starbase his father being employed as a holodeck repair/maintenance man. As a result both he and his brother became very interested in computers at a young age. Because of the constant moving Trolin grew close to his siblings but had no other real friends since it was near impossible to keep them. Dicipline was also a pretty big issue as Keval and Khoner would usually play "Hide and Don't get Caught" which is "Hide and go seek" in restricted areas of star bases.

When Keval left for the academy it was a pretty big loss to Khoner. Trolin became known as the hacker in the family. His antics were never that big usually breaking into public signs and posting (what he thought were funny) messages like warnings of zombies. As time moved on (and as the family also kept "moving on") his antics became more and more severe. "Hide and Don't get Caught" became a regular game for him landing him several times into a brig. He began to see warnings and rules as challenges and would try and push the limit as far as he could. He also became more aggressive at school finishing several fights. At the recommendation of his appointed consular, at the beginning of 10th grade he was enrolled in extra curricular activities that revolved around hand to hand combat to try and provide an outlet for his anger.

Khoner found that he really enjoyed the structured learning and fighting. He did become less aggressive at school as punishment also included him having to watch but not participate in these activities after school. While this toned down his aggressiveness Khoner still was an explorer and rebel at heart.

At the age of 16 he found love. Her name was Melissa and she was in a restricted corridor that day. She too loved exploring and showed him more secret passages. They found a meeting place one day that they made their "home" Deep in the restricted zones it was quiet (With out people, you could always here the hum of the machinery in that spot) and where no would bother them. It is unclear what that room was, there was doors and windows but no one lived there or ever came by. They began to decorate their place and would always sneak back there and talk for hours. They taught each other everything, improving their hacking and sneakery together. However she was always insistent that they never damaged, stole, or interfered with the base.

Together they made a program which Khoner sent off to his brother Keval. The program was modeled off of the ideas of Melissa and Khoner as they sat looking out to the stars wishing to walk among them as gods.

Following his brothers foot steps Khoner choose to enroll at starfleet. It was Melissa who helped him choose security. She insisted that he choose security as Engineering would just be too boring and besides, "If you enroll in what you love the most you will only learn to hate it." She said he should always incorporate his computer knowledge and never let it go but leave it as something to explore for fun.

Personality

• Pastimes: Khoner always had an affinity for tinkering and programing (mainly programming).
• Joining Starfleet: It came as a shock to many when he decided to join starfleet as a security officer with only a minor in engineering. When asked Khoner will typicaly explain it as this. "A man once told me to find 2 things I enjoy doing The most. Determine which one I would want to do for the rest of my life, then major in the other and leave your favorite thing to do... your favorite thing to do. Do not let it get runied by becoming your job but the source of your enjoyment. Integrate them togther as often as you can but let it be fun."
