The Heth-Gimel star III is a class IV Subgiant star, type A5 (white spectrum) with an average temperature of between 7,500 to 10,000 Kelvin and with a stellar mass of about 3.1 to 4.0 (in relation to Sol) It has a solar radius of 2.1 and a luminosity of 40L with hydrogen lines falling within the strong range.
This star is approximately 846 million km from star II and 983 million km from star I. They form a slightly off sided triangle.
