Background
Born in Newport News, Virginia to a family that had been established there since Colonial times on the North American continent. He was always expected to be successful. He always knew he wanted to join Starfleet because no one else in his family had done so before, to strike out on his own. His family consists of many off-world traders who are quite successful.
Personality
Martinson has a usually calm demeanor and is often friendly and joking. He carries himself with an air of confidence. His negotiating style follows those same traits and usually changes to a straight forward attitude once rapport has been established.
